Qualification
Primary entry, 6 games

Handicap
Ladies receive 8 pins handicap per game. Ladies
get no handicap in tie breaking. In all games played in the tournament
the ladies handicap is considered as pin fall.
Desperado Squad
Desperado squad, 1 game on one lane
Qualifying to the Finals 44 best bowlers from the qualification 4 best
bowlers from the desperado squad
Final
Final step 1
48 players will play 8 games starting from
scratch. Top 16 of these players will continue to the final step 2.
Players not continuing will be ranked 17-48 according to their position
in the final step 1.
Final step 2
16 players will play a one game Round Robin
with position round with the pin fall from the step 1 carried forward.
Winning bonus is 30 pins and bonus for a tie is 15 pins for each bowler.
In position round players will meet each other based on ranking after 23
games. Nr 1 meets nr 2; nr 3 meets nr 4 etc. Winning bonus is the same
as before. Top 4 after final step 2 will qualify for the final step 3
Players not continuing will be ranked 5-16 according to their positions
in the final step 2
Final step 3
There will be 3 stepladder one game matches,
all starting from scratch. References to positions are to positions
after the final step 2 Stepladder match 1: The player positioned 4th
will meet the player positioned 3rd The looser of the match will be
ranked 4th in the final tournament standings Stepladder match 2: The
winner of match 1 will meet the player positioned 2nd The looser of the
match will be ranked 3rd in the final tournament standings Stepladder
match 3: The winner of match 2 and the player positioned 1st will play a
one game match The looser of the match will be ranked 2nd in the final
tournament standings The winner of the match will be the Winner of the
Tournament.
Tournament tie rules
Qualification and the final step 1-2
In case of a tie the highest ranked player will
be the one with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest
ranked player will be the one with the highest second last game, then
the player with the highest third last game etc. When games are compared
in the final step 2, bonus points won in the matches are not taken into
consideration.
The final step 3
In case of a tie in a match in the final step
3, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated
until the tie is broken Desperado squad In case of tie in the desperado
squad, the highest positioned player will be the one with the highest
position after the qualification.
Special playing rules in effect for the EBT
Adjusting of the surface of the bowling ball,
by means of scrub sponges, scoring pads, and polish that are on the list
of approved products, may be done only in between qualification squads
and final steps, before qualification squads and final steps and during
practice sessions before qualification squads and final steps.
Altering the surface of the bowling ball by means of bonded or coated
abrasives, may be done only in between qualification squads and final
steps, before qualification squads and final steps and during practice
sessions before qualification squads and final steps.
A player is allowed maximum 2 re-racks per game without asking the
tournament management for permission. Unless permission for another
re-rack in the game is granted such a re-rack is illegal. Additional
re-racks in the game can only be granted by the tournament management
and should be limited to situations where it is obvious that the pin
setting is clearly out of spots. If a player violates this rule the
frame following the illegal re-rack will be set to zero. If a player,
without permission from the tournament management, leaves a
qualification squad or a final stage before he/she has completed all
games in the squad/stage, all previous scores of the player will be
counted as zero and the player can not enter the tournament again at any
later squad or final stage. In case of an illegal pull out, pre-paid
entry fees for later squads will not be reimbursed. In case of an
illegal put out, the player will be given 1 penalty point, and the pull
out will be reported to the EBT Administrator.
Dress code
Players must wear a tidy bowling outfit. Shirt
can be a club shirt or other tidy shirt. Men must wear slacks. Women may
wear skirts, shorts or slacks. Wearing sweat pants is forbidden.
